At Armoured Electrical, we believe people deserve to live in a safe home that they enjoy.
That means we don’t cut corners, rush jobs, or leave things “good enough.” We take the time to do things properly, communicate clearly with homeowners, and leave every home better than we found it.
We don’t just fix what’s in front of us -we look at the whole system.
That means:
- identifying root causes, not just symptoms
- helping homeowners understand their options
- thinking about safety, reliability, and long-term performance
Sometimes the right answer isn’t the cheapest or quickest fix-it’s doing the job properly so the homeowner isn’t dealing with the same problem again in a month.
We’re looking for an electrician or experienced apprentice who takes pride in their work, cares about doing things right, and wants to grow into running jobs independently over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing and upgrading electrical systems in residential homes
- Working alongside the owner initially, with the goal of taking on more responsibility over time
- Communicating clearly and professionally with homeowners
- Keeping jobs clean, organized, and well-executed
- Learning our approach to quality work and customer care
How We Work
We take pride in doing things properly-not just technically, but in how we show up in people’s homes.
That means:
- wearing floor protection and respecting the home every time
- moving things carefully and putting them back the way they were
- cleaning as we go, not just at the end of the job
- planning and preparing before we start-not rushing in blind
We’re always improving how we do things. We:
- learn from mistakes and fix them properly
- make suggestions to improve jobs and systems
- stay current with new technologies and equipment
- invest in training, problem-solving, and communication
The work itself is varied and interesting:
- residential service and upgrades
- panel and service work
- generator installs (portable and whole-home)
- system design and problem-solving
This isn’t repetitive industrial or commercial work-it’s hands-on, detail-oriented, and requires thinking on your feet.
What We’re Looking For
- Red Seal electrician or strong apprentice
- Someone who cares about quality and doing things right
- Willing to learn, improve, and take ownership over time
- Comfortable working in homes (attics, crawlspaces, older wiring)
- Clear communicator who represents the company well with homeowners
- Reliable, respectful, and professional
The Opportunity
This role will start part-time/flexible as we build the right fit, with the opportunity to grow into full-time as workload and performance align.
This is primarily residential service and installation work, where attention to detail, problem-solving, and customer interaction are key.
Why This Work Matters
This isn’t just about wiring houses.
It’s about walking into a home where something isn’t right-and leaving it safer, cleaner, and done properly.
It’s about helping homeowners understand what’s actually going on, giving them real options, and earning their trust.
And yeah-sometimes it means hearing “thank you” in a way you don’t get on big commercial sites. Reviews, referrals, even the occasional baked goods-because people genuinely appreciate the work.
If you take pride in your craft and want to see the real impact of what you do, this kind of work is different.
What We Offer
- $20–$50/hr depending on experience and capability
- Local, Monday–Friday work (no camp or constant site changes)
