Job Summary
Divine Wines is seeking a dedicated Full Time Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, promoting our wine selections, and supporting retail operations. The associate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, assisting customers with their selections, and ensuring smooth store operations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding wine products and related merchandise
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on wine features and pairing options
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing sales
- Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote featured products
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product restocking
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Support store cleanliness and organization to ensure a pleasant shopping environment
- Utilize technology tools for sales tracking, inventory management, and customer engagement
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for transactions
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and technical sales is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for customer interactions both in-store and over the phone
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team while maintaining individual responsibilities
- A passion for wine or spirits is a plus; willingness to learn about our product offerings is essential
Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
