Gutter Guys Plus is looking for a motivated and outgoing Part-Time Recruiter to help us identify and recruit experienced subcontractors for our growing team.
The primary focus of this position will be finding and building relationships with qualified gutter and siding installation subcontractors in London and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on recruiting position that will involve online sourcing, phone outreach, networking, and travelling to different locations to connect with potential subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Source and recruit experienced gutter and siding installation subcontractors.
- Search for potential subcontractors through Facebook, online platforms, referrals, job sites, local businesses, and other sourcing methods.
- Make outbound calls and send messages to prospective subcontractors.
- Visit different locations and job sites to identify and connect with potential subcontractors.
- Conduct initial phone screens to determine experience, crew size, service area, availability, tools, transportation, and overall suitability.
- Build and maintain a pipeline/database of potential subcontractors.
- Follow up consistently with prospective subcontractors.
- Coordinate qualified subcontractors with management for next steps.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to continuously find new subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate records of recruiting activity and candidate status.
- Provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence and be comfortable travelling to different locations.
- Must be Available to work approximately 15 hours per week from 7am to 11:00am.
- Previous recruiting, sourcing, sales, business development, or construction-industry experience is preferred.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and approaching people directly.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Organized and comfortable tracking multiple prospects and follow-ups.
- Familiarity with Facebook, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other sourcing platforms is an asset.
- Knowledge of gutters, siding, roofing, exterior construction, or skilled trades is an asset.

We're looking for someone who is resourceful and proactive. This role isn't about waiting for applications to come in. The successful candidate will actively search for experienced subcontractors, reach out to them, build relationships, and create a consistent pipeline of qualified crews.
Experience recruiting skilled trades or construction subcontractors would be a strong advantage.
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
