We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our Vaughan warehouse. This role oversees daily warehouse operations including shipping/receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and warehouse organization. The position also involves hands-on warehouse work when needed, including container loading/unloading.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure efficient warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, distribution, and fulfillment
· Perform and support physical warehouse work including order picking and container loading/unloading
· Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers
· Manage warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and local regulations
· Work closely with management and department leads on operational issues and process improvements
· Attend management meetings and provide warehouse operational updates
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
· Monitor inventory levels and minimize damages, shortages, and discrepancies
· Ensure proper storage of goods and maintain accurate stock records
· Coordinate year-end and cycle inventory counts
· Maintain warehouse documentation and operational records
· Handle sample processing and spare parts shipments
· Source and negotiate outbound freight rates
· Ensure all safety, health, and environmental standards are followed
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Degree or diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain is an asset
· 3+ years warehouse/logistics management experience
· 5+ years warehouse operations experience
· Experience with inventory control, pallet management, and container handling
· Valid Forklift license required
· Experience with QuickBooks and/or WMS systems is an asset
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in English)
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
· Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
· Reliable transportation is required
Salary and Benefits
· Starting salary: $50,000/year
