Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Sandblaster to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cleaning metal surfaces using abrasive blasting techniques to ensure quality finishes on various industrial components. Duties
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for finishing or assembly
- Set up and adjust abrasive blasting machines according to project specifications
- Inspect workpieces for surface defects and ensure proper cleaning standards are met
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for surface preparation and repairs
- Assist with assembly, machining, or other manufacturing processes as required
- Follow safety protocols related to abrasive materials, dust control, and equipment operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly, or metal finishing preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation is a plu
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow detailed instructions

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
