We specialize in high‑quality civil infrastructure work and are currently installing fibre network systems throughout Calgary. Position Overview
We are hiring one Directional Driller and one Locator with proven experience in fibre installation and civil construction. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and we’re looking for people who operate with that same mindset.
Responsibilities
Directional Driller
- Safely and efficiently operate directional drilling equipment
- Complete bore paths according to design specifications
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
- Work closely with the locator and crew to ensure accuracy, productivity, and safe operations
Locator
- Accurately locate drill head and guide bore path
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and utility locates
- Maintain clear communication with the driller to ensure safe and precise drilling
- Assist with site setup, restoration, and general labour as required
Requirements (Both Positions)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in directional drilling/locating
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, ground disturbance practices, and safe work habits
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
- Positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful work environment
