ON-SITE JANITOR

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the On-Site Janitor helps maintain clean, safe, and welcoming public areas throughout Tigh-Na-Mara.
This hands-on role provides cleaning and janitorial services across guest-facing and public spaces while maintaining established standards for cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and presentation.
The On-Site Janitor works efficiently and independently to maintain assigned areas, respond to cleaning needs, and help ensure resort spaces are prepared and maintained to a high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including floors, walls, fixtures, surfaces, and waste and recycling areas, according to established cleanliness standards.
- Complete and maintain required cleaning schedules and records accurately throughout the shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas, Team Member common spaces, and other assigned areas throughout the resort.
- Complete regular walk-throughs of public areas and resort grounds to remove litter, address cleaning needs, and help maintain a welcoming environment.
- Safely and responsibly operate resort golf carts when travelling between assigned areas.
- Follow established cleaning, sanitation, health and safety, and company standards while supporting additional Housekeeping and public area needs as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Available to work a flexible full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and independently while managing assigned areas and priorities.
- Reliable, positive, and able to work collaboratively as part of the Housekeeping team.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks involving bending, lifting, carrying, scrubbing, and climbing stairs throughout the shift.
- Previous janitorial, cleaning, housekeeping, hotel, or resort experience is considered an asset.
COMPENSATION
$21.55 - $24.60 per hour
