Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to help our family as Full-Time Child Care Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with our 2 children during the daytime summer months. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood education and enjoy engaging with children through creative activities and learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities and outings
- Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
- Support children in their social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Provide tutoring and teaching support as needed to reinforce learning concepts
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and children to promote a collaborative atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity areas and materials
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong tutoring and teaching skills to support children's learning needs
- Passion for working with children and creating engaging learning experiences
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient demeanor
- Ability to work full-time during daytime hours throughout the summer season
- Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or related fields are a plus
- Own vehicle is preferred
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
