Blue Oak Medical Clinic is nestled in Abbotsford, an area renowned for its beautiful country setting and vibrant urban core. The clinic provides a safe support and nursing care, for all of our patients due to physical or cognitive issues.
We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) who are passionate about working in Patient Care. In collaboration with our Interdisciplinary Team you will assist and support residents in making choices that promote independence, enhance their lives, and enable them to age with dignity.

What You Will Do
- Reporting to and under the direction of the Director of Nursing, promote and enhance high quality clinical care practice and leadership within the nursing process according to the day-to-day needs of the resident.
- Provide nursing care to our residents in accordance with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards of Practice.
- Responsible and accountable to gerontological and nursing standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences, medication reviews, and mental health rounds of our residents.
- Maintain resident health care records and charting in compliance with established standards and legislative requirements.
- Ensure that resident rights are maintained and respected which includes confidentiality and the right to participate in his or her own care.
- Ensure that high quality clinical care is provided, outcomes are evaluated, and interventions are implemented based on the needs of residents.
Your Qualifications – The Must Have’s
- Graduate of a recognized Nursing Program (NP) and current registration with the BCCNM.
- Current First Aid and Level C CPR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- You have the physical ability and stamina to carry out the duties of the role.
- You have a genuine passion for caring for our residents.
- Ability to organize workloads and have excellent time management skills.
- You can work independently as well as take direction, be a team player, be flexible, and be able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
- You can provide a clear Criminal Record Check for working with vulnerable adults and proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
