Stamping Die Shop Maintenance Supervisor (Brampton Stamping) will be responsible for leading die shop toolmakers and skilled trades in a fast-paced, high volume unionized manufacturing environment. Stamping Die Shop Supervisor (Brampton Stamping) will be responsible for coordinating daily team activities in stamping die shop to achieve business metrics; overseeing and developing highly functioning work teams, comprised of team leaders and team members; coordinating activities according to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards (particularly the Autonomous and Professional Maintenance Pillar activities) while impacting the overall equipment effectiveness; using systematic approach of planning and executing key maintenance enablers and coordinating all activities utilizing the TMS system.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; OR Die Journeymen status with minimum of 5 years' sheet metal experience in metal stamping / die construction / die tryouts preferably in transfer / progressive dies; OR Minimum 10 years of technical/manufacturing experience in sheet metal
Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
Must possess a working knowledge of advanced technical problem solving tools
Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
Ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the plant from hourly represented employees to senior leadership as required
Goal oriented and a self-starter and ability to lead and manage in a team environment
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in technical field
Heavy stamping experience in Class A panels
Manufacturing supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability and passion to coach/mentor/develop team members
Experience working in a union environment
Experience understanding a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
Strong background in LEAN manufacturing systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
