A1 Bus is seeking dedicated Daily School Bus Drivers in Nanaimo and Comox / Courtenay, British Columbia.
We are looking for someone who is patient yet firm, dependable and safety minded.
This is a yearly 10 month position. It requires daily commitment but offer job security and a flexible schedule. It is perfectly suited for stay-at-home parents, retirees, students, pastors or anyone looking for some extra income.
As a regular School Bus Driver you will work a split shift, driving approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, with some additional hours available for field trips and charter work. You will be assigned a route that approximately falls between the hours of 7:30 am - 8:30 am in the morning and between 2:00 pm - 3:15 pm in the afternoon.

Driver Qualities: Professional, punctual, flexible, safe and fun!
Licensing Requirements: Class 2 with air endorsement or a Class 1.
Equipment: 20 to 48 passenger school buses
Pay: $28/hr

Note: an RCMP criminal record check for the vulnerable sector will be required before commencement of work. Drivers must also wear and be comfortable using a headset while driving.
