Job description
We are looking for a passionate, innovative and strategic Electrical Engineer who can contribute to our project. This individual will be a key member of the Engineering Team and will be responsible for designing our circuit board and simulating the transmitter and receiver coils with an electromagnetic software. We are looking for an enthusiastic employee who can contribute to our project. The team member is expected to perform literature review, modeling and simulation, schematics and board design of different control units and perform data analysis on wireless transmission of energy. The team will work remotely under the supervision of our Research Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support research and engineering analysis of sustainable energy transmission methods to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Perform modeling and simulations to analyze and optimize wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, particularly for eco-friendly EV charging applications.
- Assist in the design and implementation of wireless power transfer systems that support clean transportation solutions.
- Develop, analyze, and refine electrical circuit designs for existing and emerging wireless charging technologies, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Contribute to the design of wireless EV charging stations and the associated electrical infrastructure, including power distribution and system integration.
- Monitor system performance, collect and analyze test data, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with suppliers to implement effective and sustainable solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design notes, test results, and reports, and stay informed about relevant industry standards and regulations for EV charging and clean energy systems.
- Assist in developing and executing validation and test plans to verify system performance and environmental objectives under real-world conditions.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts aimed at increasing energy efficiency, reducing environmental footprint, and supporting the broader adoption of clean transportation technologies.
Knowledge and Skills
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems, or a closely related engineering discipline. Candidates with a strong Bachelor’s degree and equivalent technical expertise may also be considered.
- Strong academic background and understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, wireless power transfer technologies, and energy conversion principles.
- Experience with electrical modeling, simulation, and system analysis using engineering tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Python, PSpice, LTspice, or equivalent software.
- Knowledge of circuit design, embedded systems, control systems, and hardware-software integration.
- Understanding of wireless power transfer principles, inductive charging systems, EV charging technologies, or sustainable energy applications is highly desirable.
- Ability to design, analyze, prototype, and validate electrical systems through simulation and experimental testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate technical challenges and develop innovative engineering solutions.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Familiarity with electrical standards, safety considerations, and engineering practices related to energy systems and EV technologies.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation, including engineering reports, design documentation, and test results.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary R&D teams.
