Trees Organic Coffee & Cheesecake is a truly unique BC owned and operated combination of corporate and franchise cafes since 1996, specializing in freshly roasted organic coffee and known for serving the “Best Cheesecake in Vancouver.” Trees currently has 11 retail cafes with 10 more additional cafes opening up in 2025.
We are seeking a reliable, experienced delivery driver to transport baked goods, coffee and catering products for our coffee chain with 20+ retail locations. This position requires a professional who is dedicated to providing exceptional service while ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in delivery driving, strong knowledge of local routes, and a passion for our brand's commitment to quality and customer service.
Reporting to the President & CEO
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely and efficiently deliver baked goods and coffee supplies to all designated retail locations, wholesale customers, and catering customers ensuring timely arrival based on a planned schedule.
· Ensure all products are handled with care to preserve freshness, quality, and presentation.
· Check all deliveries against order invoices to confirm accuracy before departure and upon arrival at each location.
· Maintain clear communication with store managers and the central office regarding delivery status, any delays, or issues.
· Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including lifting and carrying heavy or bulk items.
· Verify that the correct inventory and quantities are being delivered.
· Conduct regular maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
· Work with other Trees delivery drivers in coordinating best routes for daily deliveries.
· Assist with other related tasks as needed, including inventory management or special deliveries, miscellaneous, supplies procurement.
· Complete all tasks and duties in a safe, timely, efficient and effective manner.
Qualifications:
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the foodservice or retail industry.
· Ability to lift and move boxes or equipment (up to 50 lbs.) safely.
· Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of orders and timeliness of deliveries.
· Be able to speak and communicate in English fluently.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Familiarity with local roads and routes in the area.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
· Flexibility to work early morning, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience delivering baked goods and food and/or beverages, with an understanding of how to transport food items to maintain quality.
· Familiarity with coffee products and their handling.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
· Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to bend, reach, and lift for loading and unloading.
Benefits:
