Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skid Steer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating skid steers to support various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy machinery, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently. A minimum of 2 years experience is required, as well as own transportation.
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steers to perform tasks including grading, excavation, material handling.
- Assist in site preparation, grading, loading/unloading materials, and site cleanup.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to execute project plans efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or damages promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience operating skid steers.
- Valid commercial driver’s license.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in construction environments.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must Have own Vehicle.
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
