Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Booth Finisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, staining, painting, and applying protective coatings to various materials (primarily wood). You must be proficient in using spray booth equipment and skilled in hand-staining and color matching to ensure a high-quality, flawless finish.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate spray guns and booth equipment efficiently.
- Apply stains, paints, varnishes, lacquers, and sealers.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, wiping, and masking.
- Mix and match colors to meet specific project guidelines.
- Inspect finished products for runs, sags, or un-even areas.
- Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and ventilation systems.
- Follow safety protocols regarding chemical handling and respirators. [1]
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Proven experience as a spray booth operator or wood finisher.
- Technical Skill: Expertise in both spray applications and manual staining.
- Material Knowledge: Understanding of different woods, sealants, and finishes. spatially OSMO , RUBIO oil and Bona
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot minor defects and correct them.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy pieces.
- Safety Mindset: Familiarity with PPE, MSDS sheets, and booth safety.
