Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food service, ensuring that every dish meets our restaurant's standards of excellence.
Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly after use.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety standards is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
