We are seeking an energetic, positive, and experienced Area Manager to support the continued growth and development of the Grande Prairie region. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the Grande Prairie production chemical market, technical expertise in production chemical applications, and a proven ability to develop new business while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region
- Build strong client relationships and engage customers with innovative solutions
- Assess customer needs and align services with operational challenges and business objectives
- Clearly communicate technical solutions and service offerings to clients
- Pursue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and coordinate with field personnel to ensure complete and competitive submissions
- Lead, mentor, and provide daily direction and support to field staff
- Manage area revenue and profitability targets
- Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
- Conduct field testing, monitoring, and reporting
- Submit accurate and timely technical and service reports to customers
- Oversee inventory management and product order processing for designated customers
- Complete HSE documentation including JSAs and safety observations
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture within the region
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Production Chemicals, with expertise in both oil and gas treatment programs
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Chemistry is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and industry experience would be considered.
- Must reside within the Grande Prairie area or be willing to relocate
- Strong technical competency in corrosion mitigation for pipelines and production facilities
- Proven experience managing and optimizing production chemical programs
- Strong sales, account management, and business development skills with a customer-focused approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Demonstrated leadership and commitment to safety performance
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with no GDL restrictions
- Current safety certifications including H2S Alive and First Aid
