WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS OUR FINANCE MANAGER?
In this hands-on role, you will report directly to the Vice President of Finance of the Door Group and be responsible for the coordination and execution of all daily activities of the Accounting Department in order to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the financial results of the Company.
You would also:
- Work with the business leadership to drive financial results of the business and to optimize business performance. Serve as a trusted business partner who is comfortable expressing sound opinions and has great decision-making skills.
- Manage production of the budgets and forecasts and operating metrics.
- Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operation results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Review of operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective, as well as an overall business perspective.
- Provide financial analyses as needed, for capital investments, pricing, and to drive cost reduction and conversion productivity.
- Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls and processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Leverage and the expand the use of the BI system and other software to drive business performance.
- Additional responsibilities/project as required.
- Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to ASSA ABLOY standards.
- Assure compliance with federal, provincial, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
- Other projects and assignments, as needed.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Economics required.
- MBA or CMA/CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience working with data analysis software. Business Objects experience is a plus
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial statement presentation
- Experience with multiple ERP systems preferred, JD Edwards and Hyperion are an asset.
- Strong team player who can effectively interact with and motivate other team members, including peers
- Ability to set and meet deadlines including a strong ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time. Ability to multitask and prioritize projects under tight time deadlines.
- Ability to work and manage in a matrix organization.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Highly proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Word but particularly Excel (e.g., template creation and completion, Pivot tables, SUMIFS/VLOOKUPS with complex criteria, macros, filters, etc.)
- Excellent communication and time management skills to in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 and $135,000. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and overall alignment with the role.
This position is classified as exempt or salaried and is not eligible for overtime pay. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in the company's bonus program, where applicable.
