GO2 Mechanical Ltd. is a commercial and industrial mechanical contractor serving clients across the GTA and Ontario. We work on HVAC, plumbing, piping, maintenance, and facility support projects for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated summer intern to help with operations, project support, data organization, and field/admin tasks. This is a good opportunity for a student or early-career candidate who wants practical exposure to construction, mechanical systems, facilities, and project coordination.
This is a hands-on support role. You will work closely with our operations team to support project coordination and keep maintenance information organized. Some work will be done in office, and some may involve visiting job sites to collect information, take photos, and document equipment or site conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with collecting and organizing equipment, service, and project information
- Visit commercial and industrial sites with a team member to document equipment and site conditions
- Enter and organize field information into spreadsheets, forms, and company software
- Assist with preparing simple summaries, reports, and internal lists
- Support general operations tasks such as scheduling follow-up, purchasing follow-up, vendor follow-up, and document cleanup
- Communicate clearly with internal team members when information is missing or unclear
- Follow company and site safety requirements when visiting active job sites
- Other administrative or operations support tasks as required
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using a phone, computer, spreadsheets, and basic software
- Reliable, punctual, and able to complete repetitive tasks carefully
- Comfortable visiting commercial and industrial job sites
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Professional attitude when dealing with coworkers, clients, vendors, and site contacts
Nice to Have
- Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, data entry, or administrative work
- Interest in HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, construction, or facility maintenance
- Previous experience in a construction, trades, warehouse, facilities, maintenance, or office support environment
- Valid G or G2 driver’s licence
- Access to a vehicle
