Title: Golf Course Maintenance Personnel
Duration: Part time, seasonal, WEEKENDS ONLY.
Description: Golf course maintenance personnel, under the direct supervision of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Equipment Technician and Lead Hand, operate motorized equipment on the golf course and do related work as needed for golf course maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Mowing of turfgrass areas as required by supervisors.
- Operate all equipment as required for course maintenance.
- Maintain mechanical operation of course equipment on a daily basis as directed by supervisors (oil, fuel, tire pressure)
- Report all equipment problems and failures to the supervisor and/or Equipment Technician immediately.
- Return equipment and all tools cleaned and serviced to designated locations after use.
- Perform all duties as directed by the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Equipment Technician and Foreman.
Qualifications:
- Requires knowledge of safe, efficient mechanical operation of motorized vehicles.
- Knowledge of principles of operation of gasoline and diesel engines and mechanical aptitude is an asset.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
