Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Software Test Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control testing on software products before release, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify bugs and defects in software products.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the stability and robustness of software applications.
- Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to communicate testing results and prioritize bug fixes.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
- Perform manual testing as needed to validate software functionality and user experience.
- Document and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on QC testing software products before release.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- ISTQB or other software testing certifications are a plus.
