Responsibilities and Duties
- Greeting patients
- Schedule and manage patient appointments in order to optimize dr's time
- Answer multi-line phones
- Adding and updating patient information in EMR
- Complete EMR tasks as assigned
- Distribute incoming and outgoing faxes, scans and mail
- Maintain office inventory
- Able to relay messages in a coherent way and distribute to the appropriate party
- Creates invoices and takes payments for non-insured services
- assists dr's during treatment, procedures, and follow up care
- complete patient assessments/history, including but not limited to vitals, weight, blood pressure
- sterilization reprocessing
- prepares, clean and maintain exam rooms
- educating patients
- Assist patients with questions regarding referrals, insurance requirements, and appointment scheduling.
- Track referral status and follow up to ensure completion of appointments and receipt of consultation reports
- Process and coordinate referrals, and liaison with referring offices
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Schedule referral appointments and communicate appointment details to patients.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
