Job Summary
Western Carpet One is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of floor coverings with precision and adherence to project specifications. The Installer will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and quality completion of installation projects across residential, commercial, or industrial sites. This is a sub-contractor position, paid by piece work.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently.
- Measure accurately and cut materials to specifications using appropriate tools.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout each phase of installation.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during installation and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, tile/stone, or carpet/vinyl is required.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for flooring installation, and other relevant skills listed above.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in various environments; ability to lift heavy materials safely.
- Valid license or relevant certification is mandatory.

Pay: $60,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
