Overview
Join our team and help bring to life our cozy detective game Almanac: Detective Agency. Join our art team as a 3D Environment Art Intern and create the buildings, props, and levels players will explore and investigate. This is a hands-on chance to gain real game-industry experience on a funded title, working directly in-engine alongside our Creative Director.
Key responsibilities:
- Model and texture buildings, props, and environment assets in our stylized, period art style
- Build and dress levels in Unity: assemble scenes, place assets, and set up materials and lighting
- Create and re-use modular materials and assets efficiently, keeping scenes consistent and performant
Who we are looking for:
- A current student looking for a co-op or internship term
- Experience creating 3D environment art (buildings, props, or levels), shown in a portfolio
- Hands-on experience working in Unity: importing assets, building scenes, and setting up materials
- Comfortable working in a remote, team-oriented environment
Bonus skills:
- Experience with modular and reusable asset workflows
- Familiarity with stylized or hand-painted art
- Lighting or level-dressing experience in Unity
