With our office expanding, we are looking for an energetic, reliable, and positive Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our team.
Schedule: Initially Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
This position is expanding to a full 4 to 5 days per week in the near future as we are expanding our practice! Perfect for someone seeking a smooth transition into a full-time role.
Position Type: Permanent (Transitioning from Part-Time to Full-Time)

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available
- Taking dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models and taking impressions
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records using dental software (Dentrix)
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental radiography
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software (Dentrix)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
