Job Summary
We want to add experienced full-time 12-volt & Installation Technicians to our growing team in our Saskatoon location who are energetic and self-starters. We want you on our team if you enjoy, a passion for the automotive industry, some experience working on vehicles and have a focus for detailed craftmanship.
Job Duties
Working and reporting directly to the Shop Foreman, the Installation Technician will perform the following tasks:
- Installation of shelves, decks, sirens etc. onto vehicles
- Fabricating custom pieces for vehicles
- Problem solving
- Ensuring the shop is clean.
- Minor custom fabrication and installation of drawers, decks, and more.
- Troubleshoot relays and switches workspaces.
- Wiring vehicles to meet specific specifications.
- Installing prefabricated items such as shelving, lights, radios and more into vehicles
- Other duties as assigned.
Applicants
You are comfortable working in an industrial environment that may require heavy physical duties. Your work will involve frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling.
- Strong knowledge of 12-volt automotive wiring & soldering – Major Asset
- Operate shop tools, power tools and basic knowledge of using a measuring tape.
- Own their own tools.
· Class 5 license
· Ability to problem solve
· Strong English written and verbal skills
· Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
· Welding and manufacturing experience- an asset
· Fabrication experience - an asset
· Must have a Clear Criminal Record
· Routing wiring looms from point to point
