- We are seeking an experienced Architectural Concrete Carpenter to join our team. This role focuses on high-quality formwork, exposed concrete finishes, and precision work including paving stone and wall block installations.
Responsibilities:
- Build and install formwork for architectural and structural concrete (walls, slabs, columns, and features)
- Work on exposed concrete requiring high-quality finishes and precise detailing
- Install paving stones and wall blocks as part of exterior and landscape work
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans
- Measure, cut, and assemble formwork using wood, plywood, and engineered systems
- Ensure accuracy in alignment, elevation, and finish quality
- Collaborate with supervisors and project teams to meet schedules and specifications
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in formwork carpentry or architectural concrete construction, preferably in the landscaping or outdoor construction industry.
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand and power tools used in carpentry and outdoor construction.
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to outdoor structures and landscaping.
- Experience with paving stone and wall block installation (asset)
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices
- Salary according to experience
