Overview
We are seeking dedicated Kennel Cleaners to join our team in both part-time and full-time capacities. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our animals and staff. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about animal care. Previous experience in customer service or handling heavy lifting is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on animal well-being and cleanliness.
Duties
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and surrounding areas to ensure a hygienic environment for animals
- Handle heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies, bedding, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies and walkways
- Monitor for any signs of illness or distress among animals and report concerns to management
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe workspace for all staff and animals
Experience
- Prior experience in animal care, kennel cleaning, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a caring attitude are essential qualities for success in this role
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
