Bikini Village is the destination of brands sought after by Canadians for swimwear and beachwear. Offering a wide selection of signed models, Bikini Village meets the diverse needs of women and men in terms of silhouette and style. Founded in 1978 and owned since 2015 by Boutique La Vie en Rose Inc., whose President and CEO is François Roberge, the chain now has 54 stores in Canada, mainly located in Eastern Canada.
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Social Media Assistant will be primarily responsible for managing content shared on the social networks of Bikini Village in order to maintain and develop the engagement of our communities. They will be responsible for managing interactions on social networks, answering clients' questions in accordance with the brand's identity, and analyzing the performance of the various initiatives developed, in close collaboration with the Social Media team.
With the Coordinators, collaborate to implement the content calendar for the Bikini Village brand on the following networks: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube;
Ensure the management of social communities;
Monitor comments, answer customer questions, create and lead conversations with social communities;
Maintain an editorial thoroughness (choice of images, approval process and validation of rights, sharing authorization, etc.);
Participate in the management of promotional campaigns on social media;
Analyze data (Facebook Insight, Google Analytics) and propose adjustments to editorial strategic approaches;
Assist the Social Media Coordinators in content creation (photoshoot, calendar, contest, etc.);
Regularly monitor the competition and stay up-to-date of new social media trends, management tools and industry best practices;
Develop and maintain a relationship of trust with different departments to fuel the creation of web content and social media.
DEC or university degree in communication / marketing / digital media or other related field;
Bilingualism, both orally and in writing (French and English);
Excellent writing skills in French and English;
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and interact with multiple stakeholders;
Ability to communicate and exchange ideas easily;
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines;
Autonomous, creative and able to evolve in an environment where many unforeseen events and changes occur rapidly;
MS Office : Word, Excel et Powerpoint;
Knowledge of the Adobe suite an asset (Photoshop, Illustrator);
Knowledge of online analysis tools (eg. Google Analytics, Facebook insight) an asset;
Knowledge of content management tools CMS, CSS, an asset;
Be available on weekends to monitor social media.
