They are currently seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join their technology team.
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the reliability, security, and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure and cloud environment. This role serves as the operational lead for the IT team, coordinating day-to-day priorities while ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and aligned with business needs.
The position acts as the final escalation point for complex infrastructure and systems issues and works closely with senior leadership on cybersecurity, vendor management, and technology planning initiatives.

Maintain and support core infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and enterprise systems

Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability across multiple office locations

Oversee patching, system maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery activities

Support and enforce security controls, policies, and best practices

Monitor infrastructure security posture and coordinate remediation activities

Assist with security audits, compliance requirements, and ongoing risk management initiatives

Coordinate day-to-day and weekly priorities for the IT team
-
Manage workload distribution, coverage, and escalation procedures
-
Serve as the operational point of contact when senior technology leadership is unavailable

Act as the final escalation point for complex technical and infrastructure issues

Provide guidance and support to team members on troubleshooting and issue resolution
-
Participate in critical incident response and after-hours support when required
-
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to support infrastructure and systems
-
Participate in evaluating and implementing new technologies
-
Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and future technology requirements

7–10 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or a related role
-
Strong experience supporting Microsoft environments, including:

Windows Server
-
Microsoft 365
-
Entra ID
-
Experience with networking, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions

Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and controls
-
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system issues

Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

Experience working within a professional services organization is considered an asset

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

Able to balance hands-on technical work with team coordination responsibilities

Salary range: $95,000 – $115,000
