Pro-West has been leading the way in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba for over 20 years. We are continuing to grow and are looking for the right candidate to join our Winnipeg branch as a Customer Service Representative.
Pro-West specializes in the installation, repair and maintenance of residential, commercial and heavy equipment heating and refrigeration systems. We are also one of Western Canada's largest suppliers of Espar and Bergstrom products, with branches across Western Canada.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Answering phones and being the first point of contact for customers
- Greeting customers and assisting with general inquiries and payments
- Working directly with the Branch Manager to support the day-to-day operations of both the Commercial Mechanical and Heavy Equipment divisions
- Assisting with coordination of service work, parts, customer requests and general branch operations
- Clerical and administrative support, document creation, filing and mail distribution
- Collection and entry of work orders into AccountEdge
- Preparing and distributing invoices and assisting with customer questions
- Parts inquiries, parts sales and parts ordering
- Shipping and receiving of parts, equipment and stock
- Maintaining and tracking local inventory
- Packaging and preparing outgoing shipments
- Assisting technicians with parts and material requirements
- Assisting with technician scheduling and dispatch as the Winnipeg branch grows
- Assisting with the Health & Safety program
- Working with other branches and the management team to ensure proper operational procedures are followed
The suitable candidate should be able to work in a team-oriented environment, have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail and be comfortable dealing with customers both in person and over the phone.
Previous experience in customer service, parts, dispatch, shipping/receiving, inventory or administration would be considered an asset. Experience in the HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, automotive or heavy equipment industries would also be beneficial.
Other requirements include:
- Minimum Grade 12 High School Diploma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge and experience with AccountEdge considered an asset
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Word and Excel
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence

Pay: $21.25-$30.33 per hour
