Ascent Home Systems Ltd. is an electrical contractor specializing in residential systems, home automation, and high performance homes. We are committed to quality and pursue innovative electrical and technological solutions for modern homes.
We are currently seeking journeyman electricians, as well as experienced second, third and fourth year apprentices to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be expected to complete work independently or collaboratively, and relied upon to effectively manage day to day work orders and tasks, as well as taking a leading role in the completion of projects. This position comes with the opportunity for career progression into more senior leadership opportunities.

Applicants MUST have:
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Experience taking a leading role on job sites, driving projects through to completion.
- Strong time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record - own transportation required.
- Residential experience.
- Genuine interest in their career and progression, as well as a commitment to quality workmanship and pride of work.
- Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas in the field of automation and technology.
- Ability to independently or collaboratively solve challenges.
- Ability to work and learn independently.
- Own basic tools.
The following skills would be considered an asset:
- Exposure to both new construction and renovation.
- Experience or exposure to residential automation systems (Control4, Lutron)
- Experience with data and network systems.
- Experience installing basic AV systems (Wall mounting TV's, connecting speakers etc.)
