Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cosmetic Tattoo/Permanent Make-up Artist/Technician to join our new and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a a true appreciation for the beauty/make-up industry, exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. As a Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, you will work closely with clients of all ages (19-75+) to design and execute their desired service (nano-brows, powder brows, eyeliner, lip blushing, scalp micropigmentation/SMP, tiny tattoos) to reflect their individual styles and preferences.
Duties
- Set-up and tear-down the tattoo station using the utmost in sanitizing techniques and practices.
- Consult with clients to understand their vision and goals for their cosmetic tattoo/permanent make-up.
- Tailor their chosen service to meet each client's vision while managing realistic expectations.
- Execute tattoo work with precision while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide aftercare instructions to clients for optimal healing and results.
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout the tattooing process, ensuring a comfortable experience for clients.
- Upsell additional services or products when appropriate, enhancing the overall client experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Skills
- Strong intra-personal skills with an eye for detail and trends.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively engage with clients in order to nail their beauty goals.
- Proven customer service experience in a hospitality or guest services environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations related to tattooing.
- Familiarity with related beauty services such as eyelash extensions, hair styling, body waxing, and product demos is a plus.
- Ability to upsell other offered services while maintaining a positive client relationship.
- A passion for making people look and feel their best and a commitment to continuous learning in the art of cosmetic tattooing/permanent make-up.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.38-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
