The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the North American Sales Finance team, partnering closely with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders to drive profitable business growth. This role brings strong financial acumen, business insight, and a customer-centric mindset to support decision-making, enhance profitability, and improve business performance through meaningful analysis and strategic partnership.
This role can be based in Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick or Toronto, Ontario.
What you’ll be doing.

Partner with Sales and related teams to support customer and product profitability through sales, trade, and cost-of-sales analytics.

Develop a deep understanding of key customer operations and identify opportunities to improve profitability and drive growth.

Analyze customer profitability, prepare margin analysis reports, and communicate insights to various stakeholder groups.

Manage customer trade spend programs, including accruals, reporting, forecasting, and analysis.

Research and analyze key business drivers, trends, and performance indicators to support decision-making.

Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, recommendations, and insights for business-critical decisions.

Perform ad hoc data extraction, consolidation, reorganization, and Volume-Price-Mix analysis to identify trends and assess performance.

Enhance internal systems, tools, and processes to improve reporting quality and increase operational efficiency.

Build strong working relationships with business partners across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other functions.

Demonstrate ownership of business results and contribute to the ongoing development of the North American Finance organization.
What you’ll need to be successful.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

CPA designation preferred.

Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles and practices.

Experience within CPG/FMCG environments, preferably supporting Sales Finance functions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.

Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

Ability to influence stakeholders and help shape frameworks, processes, and decision-making approaches.

Results-oriented with a bias for action and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

The Senior Financial Analyst is part of the North American Sales Finance team, a collaborative group focused on delivering financial insights and business partnership to support profitable growth across the organization. The team works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance partners, providing analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations that influence key business decisions. This role serves as a critical link between financial performance and commercial execution, helping drive results across the North American business.

Compensation Package: $81,600.00 - $108,900.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility
