General Summary:
This job is best suited for individuals who enjoy building things with their hands, pay close attention to detail and are meticulous by nature. You will be assembling a variety of instruments consisting of electrical and mechanical components. Previous assembly or soldering experience is preferred. As part of the production team your goal will be to assemble each product to the same exacting standards every time.
Duties:
Assembly of geophysical-instrumentation using hand tools, punches, crimpers, multi-meters in addition to soldering wires and small surface mount components.
Follow simple mechanical-drawings, wiring-diagrams and work instructions.
Manufacturing work environment.
Adhere to all HSE policies and procedures.
Skills:
Ability to follow detailed Assembly Work Instruction document.
Ability to read and follow simple wiring and mechanical drawings.
Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, wire-strippers, cutters, and soldering iron.
Experience in assembly environment is preferred.
Qualification:
High School Diploma
Must be fluent in English
Must be a Canadian citizen or have Permanent Residency status. (a work-visa is not acceptable)
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
