If you are a senior building services engineer, this is your opportunity to help us build a better company. On this mandate, you will be working on an STM project: the design and construction of the Northwest Attachment Center (CANO), a major new underground work required for the maintenance of the Metro, with a planned completion date of 2027. This center, up to 30m deep, will house rail vehicles used for tunnel and rail maintenance, and will include workshops, elevators, storage and connecting tunnels.
Be part of a project team integrated into the heart of our client's operations and be part of the partnership that has existed between Stantec and STM for over 20 years.
The position starts working from home and with a transition (partial or full) to the project offices at Place Bonaventure (post-Covid). The work site will be on boul. Decarie near Snowdon street.
In this key position you will coordinate activities among other mechanical engineers and technicians and provide technical support.
Design ventilation, heating, plumbing and industrial services systems (oil piping, compressed air, antifreeze)
Supervise the estimation, survey and preparation of plans and specifications, write and approve technical reports.
Perform design drawings, using Revit.
Participate in project planning.
Coordinate activities with other disciplines and subcontracted studies.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting engineering.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
Knowledge of building codes and standards.
