Tyrod is looking for a Red Seal Fabricator with CWB certification in the Prince George. Work will be primarily shop based.
Duties may include:
- Read and interpret shop drawings, isometrics, and structural details
- Lay out, cut, fit, and tack structural steel, plate, and pipe to drawing tolerances
- Set up and operate shop equipment: band saw, iron worker, plasma/oxy-fuel, magnetic drill, grinders
- Fit assemblies for welding and work alongside welders through to final QC release
- Follow material traceability requirements — heat numbers, cut lists, and job/cost coding
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all site and shop safety procedures
Requirements:
- Certified Journeyperson
- Oil & Gas experience is preferred
- CWB certification
- Fabricating experience of structural
- Demonstrate working well with co-workers and completing tasks presented by the supervisor
- Class 5 drivers license is an asset
- Overhead crane and rigging experience; forklift ticket an asset
