We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team to cover a maternity leave with the potential of a permanent position. This position will begin as part-time during the training period, with the opportunity to transition into full-time hours once training is completed and responsibilities are fully integrated.
The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming patients and assisting with inquiries while ensuring a smooth and professional front desk experience. This role requires maintaining accurate patient records, processing payments, coordinating appointments, and providing administrative support to the DOC+ team.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule and manage appointments efficiently using Curve Dental or similar dental practice management software
- Manage multi-line phone systems for patient inquiries, appointment confirmations, and referrals
- Verify and update patient insurance information
- Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories, and ensure confidentiality
- Process and collect payments
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and scheduling
- Manage correspondence, office supplies, and general front desk administrative duties
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous dental office experience preferred, including familiarity with Curve Dental or similar dental practice management software
- Experience working as a front desk receptionist in a medical or dental setting is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and healthcare documentation
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems, appointment scheduling, and front desk administration
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
