Oxford Hydraulics Centre Inc. is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Parts Technician / Outside Sales Representative to support our Mobile, Agricultural, and Industrial hydraulic service operations. This role combines technical parts support & sales at our shop with proactive field sales, including visiting customers, identifying their needs, and providing solutions that keep their equipment running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Outside Sales:
· Visit customers on-site to assess needs, promote products, and support hydraulic parts sales
· Assist customers in selecting the correct hydraulic components and solutions
· Handle customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
· Provide basic technical guidance on hydraulic parts (training available)
· Process sales orders, quotes, and special part requests
· Prepare sales reports as required
Parts Department:
· Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts
· Support shop technicians by sourcing and preparing required parts for repairs
· Receive, label, and organize incoming parts shipments
· Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers
· Prepare inventory reports as required
· Collaborate with service and office teams to support daily operations
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in parts sales, counter service, or field sales
- Knowledge of hydraulic parts and systems (strong asset but training available)
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel for customer visits
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 43.75 per week
