Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IT Teacher to join our daycare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing young children to basic technology concepts in a fun and engaging manner. This role offers an opportunity to foster early childhood development through innovative teaching methods, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment for our students. The IT Teacher will work closely with other educators to integrate technology into the curriculum, supporting children’s cognitive and digital literacy skills.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate IT lesson plans tailored for young children in a daycare setting
- Introduce basic computer skills, including mouse and keyboard usage, in an engaging way
- Use educational software and interactive tools to enhance learning experiences
- Monitor and assess children's progress in understanding technology concepts
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborate with caregivers and staff to support individual developmental needs
- Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and licensing regulations
- Foster curiosity and enthusiasm for technology through creative activities and hands-on projects
Qualifications
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of teaching methods suitable for early childhood education
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners in the field of technology
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Basic proficiency with computers and educational software relevant to early childhood education
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is a plus

Pay: $17.85-$38.60 per hour
