We are looking for an
Oracle PPM Specialist for a
6-month contract position, with possible extensions in
Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Remote work opportunity. Schedule is 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.
Description
As an Oracle PPM (Project Portfolio Management) Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle Cloud PPM solutions to support our client’s project management processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective use of Oracle PPM tools and provide expertise in optimizing project portfolio management.
Role Responsibilities
- Establish and implement best practices for Oracle Cloud PPM solutions.
- Implement and configure Oracle PPM modules to meet business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle PPM applications.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users on Oracle PPM functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle PPM applications.
- Perform system upgrades and ensure compatibility with other enterprise systems.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into project performance and portfolio management.
Required Skills and Experience
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Fusion PPM Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion PPM modules and functionalities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Oracle Cloud certification(s) a strong plus.
- Knowledge and hands-on implementation experience designing and implementing scalable, and reliable Oracle Cloud PPM applications and functionalities.
