Foreman / Heavy Equipment Operator

We are looking for an experienced Foreman / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a skilled operator who can confidently run excavators, bulldozers, graders, and other heavy equipment, while also taking charge of a job site and crew.
You’ll be using a variety of this equipment on numerous residential and commercial jobsites, completing asphalt and concrete prep, landscaping, Heavy civil work as well as sewer and water.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, bulldozers, graders, and other heavy equipment
- Cut grade and perform finish grading
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Run and manage job sites from start to finish
- Supervise and coordinate crew members
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
- Help plan daily work and coordinate equipment and manpower
- Maintain a clean and safe work site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator and foreman
- Strong grading and site-work experience
- Ability to cut grade and work from plans/blueprints
- Ability to manage a crew and run a job independently
- Class 5 driver's licence required
- Class 1 driver's licence preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work weekends when required
- Safety-conscious and dependable
