Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher/Formwork Carpenter to join our construction team. The project's duration is 3-4 weeks.
Duties
- Prepare and set forms for concrete sidewalks.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely to pour, level, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces such as floors, sidewalks, driveways, and foundations.
- Apply finishing techniques including troweling, caulking, and sealing to achieve smooth surfaces that meet quality standards..
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and sustained manual labor throughout the workday.
- Knowledge of restoration techniques and flooring installation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in construction environments and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
We are hiring foreman, finishers and carpenters at the moment.
Pay rates are as follows:
Foreman: $45/hr
Finishers: $35/hr
Labourers: $30/hr
