Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server/Front of House team member to provide exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Clover POS. A passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction is essential.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Clover POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Prepare a range of Vietnamese and standard beverages — including Vietnamese iced coffee, smoothies (sinh tố), and soft drinks — following recipe and presentation standards
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Perform opening duties to prepare the front-of-house for service, including stocking stations and setting up equipment
- Perform closing duties, including cleaning and sanitizing the front-of-house area and restocking for the next shift
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; hospitality background preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Clover Restaurant POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Effective communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required
