Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse's Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being of patients. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures. The Nurse's Aide will play a vital role in supporting clinical operations and enhancing patient experiences through attentive care and efficient computer operation.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support nursing staff with patient care tasks including vital signs monitoring and medication administration under supervision
- Maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook to record patient information and care activities
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans
- Utilize computer skills for data entry, scheduling, and managing medical records while adhering to confidentiality protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient needs promptly and professionally
- Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Assist with medical procedures as directed by licensed nursing personnel using appropriate medical terminology
Experience
- Prior experience in acute care settings or nursing assistance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates or those new to healthcare roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer operation is essential for documentation and communication tasks
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are considered a strong asset for effective communication with diverse patient populations
- Strong organizational skills, time management capabilities, and excellent communication skills are necessary for success in this role
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and patient care standards is desirable but training will be available for qualified candidates

Pay: $22.37-$29.83 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
