Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Water Sewer Foreman to lead and oversee water and sewer construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, extensive knowledge of heavy equipment, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves coordinating daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget. The Water Sewer Foreman will play a critical role in maintaining project standards and fostering a productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate water and sewer installation and repair projects from start to finish
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and rigging gear
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and low voltage systems to complete tasks
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
- Manage daily work schedules, assign tasks to crew members, and monitor progress
- Conduct inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to facilitate smooth operations
- Train and mentor crew members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and technical skills
Experience
- Proven experience in water and sewer construction or related heavy civil projects
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating excavators, backhoes, bucket trucks, and other heavy machinery
- Electrical experience preferred for handling low voltage systems
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and rigging techniques
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a construction environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation, trenching, shoring, and confined space entry

Pay: $23.86-$50.00 per hour
