- Provide support to enhance and develop essential life skills such as planning, organization, communication, and social networking.
- Assist with daily tasks and activities including personal hygiene care, household chores, budgeting, grocery shopping, running community errands, attending medical appointments, and mentoring during educational and vocational placements.
- Offer education and information to encourage participation in recreational and leisure activities, access community resources, and optimize nutrition and exercise.
- Provide respite care for families and caregivers.
- Implement behavioral intervention programs, including crisis prevention and conflict resolution.
- Offer support in various settings such as residential facilities, schools, daycare centers, vocational programs, hospitals, and treatment facilities.
- Work with diverse ethnic groups, respecting all cultural values and traditions.
