We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused General Labourer to support daily operations in our custom cabinetry manufacturing facility. In this role, you will assist with a range of production support duties to help maintain safe, efficient, and organized operations.
A PIVOTAL ROLE ON A LARGE TEAM.
The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the company by assuming the following responsibilities:
- Support daily operations in one or more production departments based on business needs, skills, experience, and training.
- Perform a variety of general production tasks that may include preparation work, assembly support, finishing support, packaging, material handling, or other shop-floor duties.
- Learn and follow department-specific processes, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, equipment, or production machinery safely
- Inspect materials, components, and finished products for visible defects, damage, or quality concerns and report issues as required.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas by following housekeeping and waste disposal standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and supervisors to support efficient workflow across departments.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to be trained in different areas of the facility.
- Represent, support, and uphold the company’s Core Values and Management Philosophy.
- Meet quality, productivity, attendance, and safety expectations in all assigned tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned

To successfully meet this challenge, we are looking for a person driven by the values of respect, teamwork, commitment, and pride with the following qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is an asset.
- Previous experience in cabinetry or woodworking manufacturing, is preferred.
- Comfortable working with wood products, cabinetry components, tools, equipment, and production materials.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work orders, labels, and basic production requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity, strong hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, safety-minded, and willing to learn through on-the-job training.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable working in an environment with wood dust, noise, varying temperatures, and strong odours.
