West Sport Fishing operates King Pacific Lodge, a remote, luxury sport fishing lodge located on the along the shoreline of the Great Bear Rainforest, within the territory of the Heiltsuk people. We offer an unparalleled experience for anglers and nature enthusiasts in a pristine wilderness setting. Our lodge provides an escape from the ordinary, where guests can enjoy the stunning beauty of the coast, incredible fishing opportunities, and exceptional hospitality.
We are currently seeking applicants for the seasonal position of Chef de Tournant/ Prep Chef/ All-Rounder. We ask our crew to work 10-12 hours/day, 7 days/week. We are looking for an approximate 7 week commitment, asap until early to mid September, 2024. The right candidate is expected to get themselves to Bella Bella.
This position is for an experienced crew member who has professional kitchen experience & training and is interested in advancing their culinary career. The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player with a passion for cooking. Our crew members are safety oriented, have exceptional interpersonal skills, and are mindful of cleanliness and organization. Food Safe Level 1 certification is required for this position.
The pay for this role is $230/day. In addition, all crew receive an equal share of a generous gratuity pool. King Pacific Lodge provides travel from Vancouver, BC to the lodge location on the Central Coast of BC, close to Bella Bella. The staff accommodation is safe, clean and comfortable.The staff accomodation is shared (two to a room). Our dedicated crew chef serves quality meals.
