Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Immigration Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the immigration field and be fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi. This role involves assisting with document preparation, client communication, and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and proofread immigration applications and related documentation
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email
- Organize, verify, and maintain client records and documents
- Perform data entry and file management
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating with caseworkers
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with IRCC policies
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in the immigration or legal sector
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi
Assets
- Diploma or certificate in Immigration Consultancy or Legal Office Administration
- Experience with IRCC portals and forms
- Familiarity with case management software
